A collaboration between the University of Windsor and the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, the WCMF is a week-long festival of lectures, performances and workshops centred around new music. The 12th annual WCMF took place from February 23 to March 1, 2009, and featured the work of composers with a connection to the Windsor/Detroit area: Kristen Kuster, Michael Lacroix, Shelley Marwood, Michael Plowman, and Erik Santos. The 2010 edition of the WCMF will feature work by guest composers Robert Lemay and Jordan Nobles, and will take place from January 30 to February 6, 2010.
