The Noiseborder Ensemble was founded in 2008 by a group of professional musicians and artists interested in the intersection of sound, image and technology. Noiseborder Ensemble performances draw on diverse musical traditions including chamber music, experimental music, popular musics, multimedia performance, electronica and improvisation. Current ensemble members include Brent Lee (saxophones, keyboards, electronics), Chris McNamara (electronics), Nick Papador (percussion, keyboards), Jessica Pistor (vocals, guitars), Trevor Pittman (clarinets), Sundar Subramanian (guitars), and Sigi Torinus (visuals). The NBE developed and presented two full-length programs in 2008-09: Superstars of Wrestling (October 23, 2008), and Too Blue to Fly (February 12, 2009). The ensemble also participated in a telematic improvisation with Germany's Blackhole Factory entitled 1/1.Far Reach.Contact (January 29, 2009). Coming events include:
