2011.06.02 It's been a very busy year--more news about recent and upcoming events to be posted soon! 2010.05.15 The Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony performed my Iron Horses at the Centre in the Square, Kitchener. 2010.04.01 The Calgary-based Ensemble Resonance have recorded the piece I composed for them last year entitled Braga. The CD will be available soon. 2010.03.11 Flutist Chenoa Anderson premiered my Turbulent FLow for flute and live electronics at the University of Windsor. We also presented works by John Oliver, Derek Charke, Ian Crutchley and WL Altman. 2010.03.04 The Noiseborder Ensemble presented a new program, including a MaxMSP-based collaboration with Blackhole-factory entitled Master Control. 2010/02/15 Pianist Réa Beaumont has released a CD of Canadian piano works entitled Creating a Landscape. The disc includes the first recording of my Subjective Geometries. 2010.02.06 Cellist Andrea Yun performed All of My Sleep is Dreaming as part of the Windsor Canadian Music Festival. 2010.02.05 The Windsor Symphony Orchestra presented my work Selvedge with video by Sigi Torinus as part of the Windsor Canadian Music Festival. Also on that program was a performance of my Memorial for string orchestra, with video interpretation by Immony Men. 2010.01.15 I performed with the Scattered Trio at the Art Gallery of Windsor. 2010.01.14 The Noiseborder Ensemble presented Zero Craft, a telematic collaboration with Blackhole-factory in Germany. 2009.12.02 My Gatineau River was performed at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto by the Windosr Symphony Orchestra. 2009.11.25 I completed the music for a film by Kim Nelson entitled Berliner. Berliner is a feature-length documentary about the Turkish-German community in Berlin, and will be released early in the new year. 2009.11.05 I performed with the Noiseborder Ensemble at the Thames Art Gallery in Chatham, Ontario. We presented the audio portion of browsing beauty, an installation by Sigi Torinus and Andrea Sunder-Plassman. This installation will tour Ontario art galleries over the next year or so. 2009.10.16-7 The premiere performance of my Discrete Music (a companion piece to Brian Eno's Discreet Music) was presented by Contact Contemporary Music as part of the SoundPlay festival in Toronto. With amazing video by Sigi Torinus. 2009.09.23 My New Music Workshop class and the Electric Improv Lab collaborated with The Green Corridor project on a site-specific installation/performance entitled Drive Thru Symphony. The performance took place on Huron Church Rd. between College and Millen at 8pm. 2009.09.18 I performed with the Scattered Trio at the Art Gallery of Windsor. 2009.09.18 I performed with the Noiseborder Ensemble in another telematic collaboration with Germany's Blackhole-factory. The performance took place in Studio A at the University of Windsor and at the Theatre Outlet festival in Braunschweig, Germany. 2009.07.25 I performed with the Electric Improv Lab and visual artists Tali Farchi and Royce Deans as part of the Windsor Fringe Festival.
